Cell Line Origin

Monoclonal antibody mouse CD90 (Thy-1)

Cell Line Description

The antibody is directed against the monomorphic determinant of the mouse Thy-1 T cell antigen. Has been used in T+NK cell depletion in vivo and flow cytometry studies. Cambridge Enterprise Reference number AB10:www.enterprise.cam.ac.uk.

Immunogen

CBA mouse thymocytes

Culture Medium

RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 0.05mM 2-mercaptoethanol (2ME) + 20% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)

Subculture Routine

Maintain cultures between 3-9 x 105 cells/ml. 5% CO2; 37°C. Saturation density 9 x 105/ml
