General description

Alkaline phosphatase, placental (Regan isozyme) is a heat stable L-leucine insensitive ALP isozyme found at elevated levels in certain types of cancer and pre-cancer patients. Alkaline phosphatase, placental (Regan isozyme) is elevated in a variety of carcinomas and sarcomas.

Specificity

Anti-ALPP monoclonal antibody reacts with human, mouse, rat, and canine alkaline phosphatase, placental (Regan isozyme).

Immunogen

synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of human ALPP with an internal ID of P24495

Application

Anti-ALPP monoclonal antibody is used to tag alkaline phosphatase, placental (Regan isozyme) proteins for detection and quantitation by Western blotting and in cells and tissues by immunohistochemical (IHC) techniques. It is used as a probe to detect this tumor marker in various carcinoma and sarcoma cancers.
