General description

Zinc sulfate heptahydrate has various industrial applications. It is widely employed as an electrolyte for zinc electroplating and for the storage of solar energy in various solar appliances. Its crystals exhibit diamagnetism.[1]

Application

Zinc sulfate heptahydrate may be used in the following studies:
  • To compose electrolyte for the electrodeposition of Cu-Zn-Sn precursors on Mo-coated glass substrates.[2]
  • Preparation of internal standard (IS) working solution for use in liquid chromatography (LC) coupled with mass spectrometry (MS) analysis.[3]
  • Titrimetric estimation of holmium content in the holmium loaded poly(L-lactic acid) films and microspheres.[4]

Holmium-loaded PLLA microspheres are useful systems in radioembolization therapy of liver metastases because of their low density, biodegradability and favourable radiation characteristics. Neutron activated Ho-loaded microspheres showed a surprisingly low release of the relatively small holmium complex. In this paper

Questions

  1. Where can i find the Stability information?

    1 answer
    1. The best source of stability information for this product is the Certificate of Analysis. This product is not assigned an expiration date, but is set up on a retest schedule. If sufficient quantity of a given lot is available as the retest date approaches, the product is reassayed and the retest date is then extended, provided material meets all required specifications. For this product, a retest date of 3 years from the date of quality release is assigned. Products with no retest or expiration date listed on the Certificate of Analysis are warranted for 1 year from the date of shipment. For products that are assigned an expiration date, the information is also available on the product label. Please see the link below to review a sample Certificate of Analysis for this product:
