General description

Baquiloprim is a diaminopyrimidine derivative used as an antibiotic in veterinary medicine.[1]

Application

Baquiloprim may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:
  • Bovine muscle samples by solid-phase extraction (SPE) and hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (HILIC-MS/MS).[2]
  • Sewage sludge samples by QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe) extraction and liquid chromatography coupled to time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC-TOF-MS).[3]
