General description

Melengestrol acetate belongs to the family of hormones. This acetylgestagen compound is known to elicit a gestagenic effect in vivo.

Application

Melengestrol acetate may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:
  • Milk using turborFlow online solid phase extraction (SPE) combined with liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
  • Kidney fats by ultra-performance convergence chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.
