Application
A general purpose media suitable for the cultivation of a wide range of non-fastidious organisms.
Preparation Note
Suspend 31g in 1 litre demineralised water. Boil whilst stirring until completely dissolved. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool agar to 45 - 50°C, mix well and pour plates. If required, 5 - 10% blood may be added to the cooled, sterile agar before pouring the plates.
