General description
El ditiotreitol (TDT), un protector del grupo tiol,[1] es un excelente reactivo para evitar la oxidación de los grupos SH en las proteínas. La disolución de TDT es un agente reductor de disulfuros potente y versátil.[2] Reduce un enlace disulfuro formando un anillo de seis miembros e iniciando un intercambio tiol-disulfuro.
Application
La disolución de Dl-ditiotreitol-ditiotreitol se ha utilizado :
- en el tratamiento de los explantes intestinales
- en la preparación de homogeneizados de células branquiales para ensayos enzimáticos
- en electroforesis de proteínas para inmunoelectrotransferencia
- en actividad transglutaminasa
- tampón de muestras para SDS-PAGE
- en Western Blot, como componente del tampón de lisis para la secuenciación de ARN de un solo núcleo
- como componente del tampón de extracción de proteínas para lisis celular
Biochem/physiol Actions
El DL-ditiotreitol (DTT) se utiliza en una técnica de desunión química, que ayuda a quitar las bacterias de las biopelículas. Puede cambiar la estabilidad estructural del receptor GABA(B) (ácido gamma-aminobutírico) al desactivar los enlaces disulfuro entre cuatro restos de cisteína situados en la estructura del receptor GABA(B1(a)).El ditiotreitol (TDT) se utiliza mucho en la síntesis peptídica sintética y la reordenación bioquímica de las tiolproteínas. También se puede utilizar para estudiar temas de química de proteínas como la actividad enzimática y el plegamiento de proteínas. El DTT controla explícitamente la respuesta de intercambio tiol-disulfuro para reducir por completo los enlaces disulfuro subatómicos intra o inter en las biomoléculas. Los tioles y el disulfuro cíclico del DTT son los productos de esta reacción.

How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
