Dichlorophene is a halogenated phenolic compound, which can basically play the role of a fungicide and bacteriocide in the cosmetic industry.[1] It can also act like an antiprotozoan agent[2].
This substance is listed on the positive list of the EU regulation 10/2011 for plastics intended to come into contact with food.
