application

Thymulin was used to study the impact of this compound on gonadotrophin-induced ovulation and on onset of puberty in mice.[1]

Biochem/physiol Actions

Thymulin also refers as serum thymic factor is a nonapeptide that reduces the hyperalgesia induced due to peripheral endotoxin administration in rats and mice.[2] It also possesses an immunomodulator function by regulating the cytokine production by peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC).[3]
Thymulin, also known as Thymic Factor, is a nonapeptide produced by epithelial cell popuation in the thymus. This peptide is known for its immunomodulatory role and has neuroendocrine effects as well.

In this study, a double-walled and pomelo-like hierarchical shear thickening fluid (STF) is successfully encapsulated using the simple and environment-friendly calcium alginate encapsulation technique by instilling STF into sodium alginate (SA) and crosslinking by calcium chloride solution. The encapsulated STF

Thymulin is a nonapeptide hormone isolated from the thymus gland. It has immunomodulatory effects which have not yet been well defined. Its major actions have been shown to be on T-cells and their immature precursors. In this study, thymulin was

Cell signaling pathways are often shared between normal and diseased cells. How to achieve cell type-specific, potent inhibition of signaling pathways is a major challenge with implications for therapeutic development. Using the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway as a model system, we
