Biochem/physiol Actions

Decursinol Angelate is a pyranocoumarin isolated from medical plant Angelica gigas that exhibits potent anti-inflammatory properties. Decursinol Angelate appears to suppress type 17 helper T (Th17) cell responses in dextran sodium sulfate-induced colitis model. Decursinol Angelate reduces the production of NF-κB and COX-2 induced proinflammatory cytokine levels on TPA induced mice ear edema.
