Biochem/physiol Actions

L-742,001 is an inhibitor of the influenza virus RNA polymerase PA subunit, implicated in several roles, including endonuclease and protease activities as well as viral RNA/complementary RNA promoter binding. L-742,001 inhibits the influenza endonuclease-dependent polymerase activity with an IC50 of 430 nM.
L-742001 is useful in the treatment of influenza viral infection.
