N-Succinyl-Ala-Ala-Pro-Phe p-nitroanilide has been used as a substrate to determine chymotrypsin activity.[1][2]
N-Succinyl-Ala-Ala-Pro-Phe p-nitroanilide has been used:
  • as a substrate for cathepsin G assay in bone marrow lysates.[3]
  • in proteolytic activity assay of serine protease subtilisin carlsberg (SC).[4]
  • as a substrate for neutrophil elastase, trypsin and chymotrypsin in protease assay.[5]

Biochem/physiol Actions

N-succinyl-Ala-Ala-Pro-Phe p-nitroanilide is a substrate for subtilisin[6] and proteases.[7]
