Silane-Prep Slides are microscope slides coated with silane (aminoalkysilane) to improve the adhesion of tissues to the slide for immunohistochemistry. The slide includes a "frosted end" for slide/patient identification. It is not tested for use in microarray assays.

Application

Silane-Prep Slides have been used in:


  • Immunofluorescence microscopy of DNA fibers.
  • Immunohistochemistry.
  • The determination of hybridization stringency.
