Application

Biochem/physiol Actions

GPR160 (G protein-coupled receptor 160) is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily consisting of seven hydrophobic transmembrane domains. All the domains are bonded through the hydrophilic loops. It is involved in the cell membrane signaling pathway. The protein activates cytosolic messenger G proteins, which transduces signals across the cell membranes. It can also interact with the Na⁺/H⁺ exchanger regulatory factor and c-Src.
