Dulbecco′s Modified Eagle′s Medium - low glucose, With 1000 mg/L glucose, and sodium bicarbonate, without L-glutamine, liquid, sterile-filtered, suitable for cell culture
Dulbecco′s Modified Eagle′s Medium (DMEM) is a modification of Basal Medium Eagle (BME) that contains a higher concentration of amino acids, vitamins, and additional supplementary components. The original DMEM formula, first reported for culturing embryonic mouse cells, contained 1,000 mg/L of glucose. An alteration with 4,500 mg/L glucose is optimal in cultivating certain cell types. This modification has been shown to improve the stability of the medium.

The immunotoxicity of three generations of polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimers (G-4, G-5 and G-6) was evaluated in mouse macrophage cells in vitro. Using the Alamar blue and MTT assays, a generation dependent cytotoxicity of the PAMAM dendrimers was found whereby G-6

Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) have been isolated, expanded, and applied in the treatment of many diseases. ADSCs have also been used to treat injured articular cartilage. However, there is controversy regarding the treatment efficiency. We considered that ADSC transplantation with

Bacteria have been used for more than a century to treat solid tumors. Because solid tumors generate an anaerobic environment, we evaluated the anti-tumor effect of the obligate anaerobe strain KK378, derived from Lactobacillus casei (L. casei), using mice bearing
The regulation and functional roles of secreted coding and long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs; >200 nt) are largely unknown. We previously showed that mutant KRAS colorectal cancer (CRC) cells release extracellular vesicles (EVs) containing distinct proteomes, microRNAs (miRNAs), and circular RNAs.
Surgical adhesives are increasingly used for vocal fold microsurgery to assist wound closure and reduce the risks of scar formation. Currently used vocal fold adhesives such as fibrin glue, however, have thus far not been found to promote wound closure
