Cell Line Origin

Anti-Quail Neural Crest Hybridoma

Cell Line Description

This antibody may provide a valuable tool for studying the differentiation of embryonic precursor cells. The hybridoma supernatant cross reacts with human neuroendocrine cells within appendix, colon and rectum. This mab could provide novel reagents for understanding neural crest development. The antibody is not reactive with somite cultures. The purified antibody is best used at 30 μg/ml for immunocytochemistry. Hybridoma should produce 1-60 μg/ml.

Immunogen

Quail Neural Crest

Application

Immunocytochemistry, diagnostic tools and probes for cellular and macromolecular investigations

Subculture Routine

Allow hydridomas to become 75% confluent prior to splitting. Seed at 3-9 x 100,000 cells/ml, 5% CO2, 37°C.
