ADAM 13 belongs to the metalloproteinase family having a disintegrin-like domain (ADAM). ADAM13 may modulate cell-attachment by associating with integrins through cysteine-rich domains. It is also involved in the migration of neural crest-cells. Rabbit Anti-ADAM-13, Cytoplasmic Domain antibody binds to Xenopus ADAM13.
By immunoblotting against the reduced protein, the antibody identifies bands at 120 kDa (minor band), 92 kDa (major band), and cleaved products at 68 kDa, 40 kDa in cell lysates.
Immunogen
synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of Xenopus ADAM-13.
Application
Rabbit Anti-ADAM-13, Cytoplasmic Domain antibody can be used for western blot applications at 1:1,000.
Physical form
Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% sodium azide.

Cranial neural-crest (CNC) cells originate from the lateral edge of the anterior neuroepithelium and migrate to form parts of the peripheral nervous system, muscles, cartilage, and bones of the face. Neural crest-cell migration involves the loss of adhesion from the
