Each unit of SRM 3530 consists of a bottle containing ~200 g of commercially available iodized table salt, sealed inside an aluminized polyethylene terephthalate (PET) pouch, supplied with an oxygen absorber pack.
Iodized Table Salt standard reference material (SRM) is intended primarily for validation of methods used to determine the iodide concentration in an iodized table salt or similar material.
This SRM is also suitable for quality assurance when assigning values to in-house reference materials.
Features and Benefits
Available with a certificate documenting NIST-certified value of mass fraction of iodine as iodide.
Assay value determined using gravimetric titrimetric, ICP-MS, and linear voltammetry methods.
The NIST certificate is provided with storage and use instructions.
