Tetramethylrhodamine is bound to deoxyuridine triphosphate via an amide linkage.

Application

Tetramethyl-Rhodamine-5-dUTP has been used in the labelling of DNA fragments[1] and in the synthesis of fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) probes.[2]
