General description

Recombinant, human resistin expressed in E. coli. A dimeric protein secreted by adipocytes. Resistin may be an important link between obesity and type II diabetes; levels of resistin have been shown to be altered in animal models of diabetes. Contains ≤0.1 ng endotoxin per µg resistin.
