General description

Ikaros, also known as IKZF1, is a transcription factor that is important for the regulation of lymphopoiesis and also the development of the immune system. It has also been linked to adult and fetal erythroid differentiation in humans. Ikaros has been shown to induce local chromatin accessibility during CD4+ T cell differentiation and therefore, activating Th2 expression.

Immunogen

Recombinant protein corresponding to Human Ikaros.

Application

Flow Cytometry Analsysis: 1 µg of a representative lot of this antibody detected Ikaros in Mouse thymocytes

Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP): A representative lot of this antibody as part of a blend Ikaros clones E9 and Ik14 (catalogue number MABE912 and MABE913 respectively) was demonstrated to perform in ChIP. See Zhang et al. (2012).

ChIP-seq Analsysis: A representative lot of this antibody as part of a blend Ikaros clones E9 and Ik14 (catalogue number MABE912 and MABE913 respectively) was demonstrated to perform in ChIP-seq. See Zhang et al. (2012).
