Synaptopodin (SYNPO) is an actin-associated protein that may play an important role in modulating actin-based shape and motility of dendritic spines and renal podocyte foot processes. It is expressed in the cerebral cortex. Mutations in SYNPO may be associated with nephrotic syndrome.
Immunogen
Epitope: Near C-terminus.
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to a sequence near the C-terminus of human SYNPO.
Application
Detect Synaptopodin using this rabbit polyclonal antibody, Anti-Synaptopodin Antibody validated for use in western blotting & IHC.
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: 2.5 µg/mL from a representative lot detected SYNPO in human brain tissue.

Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is one of the most common complications of diabetes. It is reported that mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived exosomes (MSCs-Exo) may have great clinical application potential for the treatment of DKD, but the underlying mechanism has
The architectural integrity of tissues requires complex interactions, both between cells and between cells and the extracellular matrix. Fundamental to cell and tissue homeostasis are the specific mechanical forces conveyed by the actomyosin cytoskeleton. Here we used super-resolution imaging methods
Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is mainly regarded as diabetic glomerulopathy, and its progression is tightly correlated with tubular epithelial lesions. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms linking tubular damage and glomerulopathy are poorly understood. Methods: We previously reported that the upregulation of
