Immunoaffinity rabbit polyclonal antibody. Recognizes all forms of wild type Ras and the mutant G12V Ras protein.
Recognizes all forms of wild type Ras, including the mutant G12V Ras protein.
This Anti-Ras (31-43) Rabbit pAb is validated for use in Immunoblotting for the detection of Ras (31-43).
Immunogen
a synthetic peptide [EYDPTIEDSYRKQ(C)] corresponding to amino acids 31-43 in the effector binding Loop (L2) of human H-, K-, and N-Ras, conjugated to KLH
Packaging
Please refer to vial label for lot-specific concentration.
Warning
Toxicity: Standard Handling (A)
Analysis Note
Positive Control Rat brain tissue
Other Notes
By immmunoblotting, this anti-pan-Ras polyclonal antibody reacts strongly with recombinant Ras fusion protein as well as with recombinant glutathione S-transferase (GST) human Ras and [G12V]GST human Ras. Does not cross-react with members of the Rho or Rab families of Ras-related small G-proteins. No specific reactivity is detected by immunoblotting with rat, mouse or human cell lines or tissue extracts. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
