General description

Recombinant, mouse insulin-like growth factor binding protein-related protein 1 (IGFBP-rp1) consisting of amino acids 28-281 and expressed in S. frugiperda 21 cells with an N-terminal His•Tag. Mouse IGFBP-rp1 cDNA encodes a 281 amino acid precursor protein which contains a putative 25 aa signal peptide and a 256 aa mature region. IGFBP modifies affinities of the binding proteins to IGF.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Functional ELISA Immobilized rmIGFBP-rp1/IGFBP-7 (500 ng/ml) produces 50% optimal binding to rhCCL21/6Ckine at 4-20 ng/ml.
