General description

Fractogel® EMD Chelate combines our tentacle structure with iminodiacetic acid as the metal chelating ligand

Features and Benefits

Fractogel® EMD Chelate (M) enables users to:

  • Efficiently purify histidine-tagged recombinant proteins
  • Coordinate metal ions to non-bonding electron pairs of the amino acid side chains and separate peptides
  • Ensure timely and successful startup and operation
  • Minimize hydrophobic interactions due to the tentacles technology, resulting in superior selectivity and recovery
  • Handle multiple CIP and packing cycles with the chemically and physically robust bead, leading to a longer resin lifetime
