Application

Cu(NO3)2 · xH2O is a promising anode material for lithium ion batteries. Some studies indicate high initial discharge capacity of upto 2200 mAhg-1.It is also used as an oxidizing agent for the one step synthesis of CuO/Cu2O/C anode for Li-ion batteries, another promising anode material for Li-ion batteries.
