General description
Smart′Ink S-CS01130 conductive ink shows improved jetting performance and is successfully used on different tools such as Drop on Demand (DOD) inkjet printer FUJIFILM Dimatix, or such as digital micro-dispensing inkjet printer Microdrop and Microfab.
Features and Benefits
- Very high electrical conductivity.
- Low curing temperature for printing on flexible substrates.
- Non CMR ink.
- Compatible with various curing process including photonic, IR, low vacuum oven and thermal.
- Unchanged conductivity on bending.
- Good adhesion (5B-ASTM D3359) on various flexible substrates (PET, PEN and Kapton).Recommended surface treatment: temperature stabilization, argon plasma.
Preparation Note
- Qualified printheads: RICOH (MH5420), XAAR (1003 GS6, 128), KONIKA MINOLTA (KM512SHx, KM1024iMHE, KM1024LHB), FUJIFILM (Dimatrix DMP series cartridge)
- Storage stability: 6 months (fridge)
- Sintering conditions:
NIR: few seconds for 4-10mW.cm.
Photonic curing: <100 ms for 3-10mW.cm.
- Smart′Ink S-CS01130 conductive ink is warmed to room temperature (about 10 minutes) and left for 5 minutes in an ultrasonic bath in order to get rid of any aggregates.
- Filtration on a 0.45 μm PTFE filter syringe to avoid any nozzles clogging.
