General description

The structural change of the evaporated perfluorotetracosane (PFT) films by the mechanical rubbing was studied by X-ray Absorption Near Edge Structure (XANES) spectroscopy[1].

Application

Perfluorotetracosane was used as a solvent to characterize two high molecular weight fractions of poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE) by using laser light scattering[2].
