General description

Lithium sulfate monohydrate is a nonlinear optical (NLO) material[1] that shows piezoelectric and electro-optic characteristics and also the highest pyroelectric coefficient among non-ferroelectric polar crystals.[2][3]

Application

Lithium sulfate monohydrate may be used in the preparation of Cu (II) doped lithium sulfate monohydrate crystals that shows higher piezoelectric coefficient than pure LSMH crystal.[1]
