General description

TentaGel S RAM is a Fmoc protected resin and modified with a Rink amide linker, suitable for solid-phase peptide synthesis.

Application

TentaGel S RAM is used in the solid-phase synthesis of aryl ethers by Mitsunobu reaction. Additionally, it can be used in Suzuki-coupling reaction of organoboronic acids with iodo- and bromo-substituted benzoic acid.[1][2]

    Good resin, but poor job on description

    The resin comes Fmoc protected, a fact which only becomes apparent when you check the synonym. I wasted nearly a bottle of this resin on a synthesis, before I became aware of the fact that it is protected.
