一般說明

3-羟基-DL-犬尿氨酸是一种色氨酸代谢产物,分子量相应的 224 Da。是存在于眼睛晶状体中的发色团或亲水性黄色化合物。3-羟基-DL-犬尿氨酸是由犬尿氨酸在犬尿氨酸 3-单加氧酶 (KMO) 操作下合成的。在犬尿氨酸酶和犬尿氨酸氨基转移酶的作用下,分别代谢为 3-羟基邻氨基苯甲酸和黄尿酸。

應用

3-羟基-DL-犬尿氨酸已被用于:
  • 作为重组人犬尿氨酸酶检测的底物
  • 作为串联质谱 (MS/MS) 分析的引用标准品
  • 作为定量糖尿病视网膜病变患者血清 3-羟基-DL-犬尿氨酸水平的对照品

生化/生理作用

3-羟基-DL-犬尿氨酸 (3-HKYN) 具有抗氧化功能,可防止大脑皮层脂质过氧化。可能调节突触神经传递。Huntington 病患者血浆中 3-HKYN 水平升高。然而,它在神经退行性疾病中的作用仍不十分清楚。犬尿氨酸代谢与谷氨酸能神经传递相关,3-HKYN 水平与精神分裂症的病理生理学相关。
