應用
TopFluor™ PC has been used as a component in the for fluorescent studies using small unilamellar vesicles. It has also been used in the preparation of unilamellar phospholipid liposomes.

Phosphatidylcholine (PC) functions as a surfactant within the mucus to form a hydrophobic surface to inhibit bacterial penetrance. It is used to treat fat embolism.
