一般說明
Bromomethane (methyl bromide) is the most effective soil fumigant for killing plant pests, its use is being phased out because its emissions from soil can lead to stratospheric ozone depletion[1]. The bimolecular nucleophilic substitution (S(N)2) reaction of methyl bromide and OH- in aqueous solution has been investigated using a multilayered-representation quantum mechanical and molecular mechanics methodology[2].

Despite generally being considered the most effective soil fumigant, methyl bromide (MeBr) use is being phased out because its emissions from soil can lead to stratospheric ozone depletion. However, a large amount is still currently used due to Critical Use

Methyl bromide is a halogenated aliphatic hydrocarbon that exists as a colorless gas or a volatile liquid. Methyl bromide historically had been used in fire extinguishers but is more commonly used as a gas fumigant for soil-borne diseases and pests.

We describe the dissociative attachment (DA) of methyl bromide to form chemisorbed CH(3) and Br on a Si(100)-2×1 surface at 270 K. The patterns of DA were studied experimentally by ultra-high vacuum scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and interpreted by ab

Methyl bromide (MB) chamber fumigations were evaluated for postharvest control of light brown apple moth, Epiphyas postvittana (Walker) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae), in fresh fruit destined for export from California. To simulate external feeding, larvae were contained in gas-permeable cages and distributed
