General description
2-Fluoronaphthalenes are mono-substituted naphthalenes, which belong to the class of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).[1]
Application
2-Fluoronaphthalene has been used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in duloxetine hydrochloride active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC).[2] It has also been used as an internal standard for the determination of fluoride in biological samples by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).[3][4]
