General description

The SygRNA synthetic RNA system recruits FnCas9 nuclease to specific double stranded DNA targets. The FnCas9 tracrRNA (trans-activating crRNA) binds to a FnCas9 crRNA (CRISPR RNA) and the resulting crRNA-tracrRNA complex guides FnCas9 protein to crRNA-specified sites in double stranded DNA. SygRNA FnCas9 synthetic tracrRNA and crRNAs are optimized for use with FnCas9 protein and compatible with a variety of nucleic acid delivery and digestion methods.
