Mouse carcinoma
Cell Line Description
Established from the explant of a 7 day old tumour from the parental Ehrlich-Lettre Ascites carcinoma. The cells exhibit an unusually high mean chromosome number and possess the marker chromosomes present in the parental Ehrlich tumour. This cell line may be of use in comparative testing of anti-tumour agents in vivo and in vitro.
Application
Anti-tumour test and tumourigenicity studies
Culture Medium
NCTC 135 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
