General description

Polystyrene based microparticles (size: 25 μm) are a particle size standard, ideal to characterize particle size distribution (PSD) of particle system.

Application

Used to calibrate, qualify and monitor the performance of particle size analyzers, surface scanning instruments and particle counters.

Features and Benefits

  • suitable for routine instrument calibration checks, testing and corrections
  • available in 5 mL pack size as a neat sample

Analysis Note

For every lot exact values of particle size and standard deviation are determined with an accuracy of 0.01 μm using a Coulter Multisizer.
