The Syk Inhibitor III, also referenced under CAS 1485-00-3, controls the biological activity of Syk. This small molecule/inhibitor is primarily used for Phosphorylation & Dephosphorylation applications.
Synonym(s):
Syk Inhibitor III, 3,4-Methylenedioxy-β-nitrostyrene
A cell-permeable nitrostyrene compound that acts as a selective inhibitor of Syk kinase activity (IC50 = 2.5 µM). It inhibits Src only at much higher concentrations (IC50 = 29.3 µM) and exhibits little effect against Fak and JAK2. Shown to potently inhibit platelet aggregation induced by various stimulators, including U46619, ADP, arachidonic acid, collagen, thrombin, ionophore A23187, and PDBu (IC50 ranges from 2.1 to 25.9 µM).
