General description

Prepared by heat shock treatment procedure.
Prepared by heat shock treatment procedure. Useful for the preparation of protein and molecular weight standards, and as a protein base for sensitive diagnostic and research assays, such as RIA, ELISA, and vitamin assay. Material can also be used as an antigen carrier protein in immunological studies and monoclonal antibody production, and as a control protein for enzymatic assays, such as protease, perioxidase, phosphatase, or nuclease when determining the purity of reagent grade albumins.

Cell death and differentiation, 27(8), 2297-2312 (2020-02-06)
Cells experiencing delays in mitotic progression are prone to undergo apoptosis unless they can exit mitosis before proapoptotic factors reach a critical threshold. Microtubule targeting agents (MTAs) arrest cells in mitosis and induce apoptotic cell death engaging the BCL2 network.
