Gene Information
human ... CRKL(1399)
General description
CRKL belongs to a family of adaptor proteins containing SH2/SH3 domains that couple to effector proteins including p130CAS, SOS, Abl, and Arg. CRKL plays a role in the mediation of Integrin- and Rac-dependent cell migration and in Ras-dependent activation of JNK. The protein is also involved in T-cell activation. Phosphorylation of CrkL on Tyr207 is known to be correlated with its inhibition.
Specificity
Recognizes CrkL only when phosphorylated on Tyr207.
Immunogen
KLH synthetic peptide including and encompassing Tyr 207 of human CrkL.
Application
Detect phospho-CrkL (Tyr207) using this Anti-phospho-CrkL (Tyr207) Antibody validated for use in WB.
