General description

Chlorfenvinphos is an organophosphorus insecticide used for the control of the bee parasite Varroa destructor and also found to be effective against a variety of insects affecting vegetables, fruits and crops.

Application

Chlorfenvinphos may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in bee-wax, grains and environmental samples using different analytical techniques.
