The Wnt Pathway Inhibitor XI, CCT036477, also referenced under CAS 305372-78-5, controls the biological activity of Wnt Pathway. This small molecule/inhibitor is primarily used for Cancer applications.
A cell-permeable indole derivative that acts as an inhibitor of Wnt signaling and exhibits an inhibitory effect in a reporter cell line (IC50 = 4.6 µM) and demonstrates growth inhibition in multiple cancer cell lines, not by altering β-catenin accumulation but by blocking transcription at the β-catenin level. Displays reduced expression of Wnt target genes in myc and survivin-luciferase reporter assays, and exhibits in vivo activity by blocking the development of zebrafish at 20 µM and Xenopus embryos at 75 µM.
