General description

Methadone is a synthetic opioid used medically as an analgesic and as a maintenance anti-addictive for use in patients with opioid dependency.[1] The drug is sold under several trade names such as Symoron, Dolophine®, Amidone, Methadose®, Physeptone, or Heptadon. This Certified Spiking Solution® is suitable for LC/MS or GC/MS testing methods in pain prescription monitoring, forensic analysis or clinical toxicology.
