一般描述

氢氧化钠非纤维状硅酸盐材料因其高吸收能力和对二氧化碳的指示性能而被普遍接受。 通常在需要更换饱和材料之前,该材料将吸收其重量的20%至30%的二氧化碳。 随着二氧化碳的吸收,由于碳酸钠的形成,绿褐色的材料变成白色。 捕集阱由硼硅酸盐玻璃制成,配件镀镍,并带有烧结的不锈钢熔块。

应当在本装置的下游安装一个水分收集器,以吸收产生的水分。

注意:由于吸收剂的腐蚀性,在重新填充捕集阱时必须格外小心。

  1. When it means 1/8 fitting, does it mean I can connect it with a tube with internal diameter of 1/8 or the external diameter has to be 1/8?

    1. This is a Swagelok fitting and 1/8" refers to the external (outside) diameter of the copper or stainless steel tubing. Linked below is a connector that can be used. Please contact your local technical service group if you need more information on how to connect Swagelok fittings.

  2. Does the product include an indicator for the consumption of sodium oxides?

    1. Upon the absorption of CO2, the greenish-brown material turns white due to the formation of sodium carbonate. It is designed to remove CO2 from gases used in various applications, such as carbon-hydrogen determinations, analyses of respiratory gases, and especially in quantitative organic micro-analyses. The sodium hydroxide non-fibrous silicate trapping medium is widely recognized for its high absorptive capacity and indicating properties. Typically, this material will absorb 20-30% of its weight in carbon dioxide before replacement of the saturated material is required.
