一般描述

Carboxen是由高分子前体高度改性而成的人造碳吸附剂。这种粒子既不会像树脂一样发生塑性变形，也不会像活性炭一样产生细微颗粒。以干燥形式储运。Carboxen作为衍生树脂适合各种去除小分子和大分子杂质的纯化应用。气相和液相纯化皆可。包括，去除原料药(API)中的均相催化剂，在生化纯化中去除高风险杂质（如，单抗中的残留宿主细胞蛋白），去除重金属，纯化氯化物，去除可萃取物和可浸出物。大小不一的渐变孔径改善了吸附和解吸的热力学和动力学特性。Carboxen形式多样，具有不同的孔结构（微孔、中孔和大孔比例不同）、比表面积和表面pH。
Carboxen® 1003 was used for the adsorption of lipopolysaccharides (LPS) as it can accommodate large LPS and their agglomerates.
Carboxen® Adsorbent is ideally used for solid-phase microextraction (SPME).[1] It is highly efficient in extraction of small polar molecules from aqueous solution.[2]
