生化/生理作用

在感染、组织损伤和炎症期间观察到INOS(诱导型一氧化氮合酶)的上调。INOS负责产生NO(一氧化氮),通过诱导血管舒张来控制血流。NO充当神经递质,可以促进免疫反应。NO还可以响应氧化应激、缺氧、炎性细胞因子(TNF-α,IL-1β,IFN-γ)和脂多糖内毒素而产生抗血栓形成和抗炎作用。iNOS比神经元和内皮NOS产生更多的NO。与这两种同工型不同,iNOS与钙无关。INOS可能与2型糖尿病有关。
