一般描述
小鼠单克隆抗VSV糖蛋白抗体（小鼠IgG1同种型）衍生自杂交瘤P5D4，该杂交瘤是通过小鼠骨髓瘤细胞与经水泡性口腔炎病毒糖蛋白（VSV-G）的合成肽（与KLH缀合）免疫的BALB/c小鼠脾细胞融合而产生的。
应用
小鼠抗VSV糖蛋白单克隆抗体可用于免疫印迹、免疫荧光、免疫沉淀、免疫细胞化学、透射电镜（TEM）和应用显微注射抗体的研究中。
生化/生理作用
水泡性口腔炎病毒糖蛋白（VSV-G）可构建一个具有吸引力的模型，从而用于研究膜蛋白的成熟和细胞内运输。它可介导VSV附着在细胞表面，并诱导病毒和靶膜之间的pH依赖性融合。此外，它还具有在其胞质域内进行细胞内分选的信息，包括从内质网（ER）高效输出、基底外侧传递和胞吞作用。高尔基体池之间的单向运输已使用含有VSV-G的高尔基体膜进行了证明。VSV-G的温度敏感突变体可用于研究内质网折叠中间体的存在。
