一般說明
10%中性缓冲的甲醛（NBF）是全世界范围内用于光学显微镜最常使用的固定剂，并且也是一种较为宽容的固定剂。10% NBF很适合于高通量的实验室，并只需要一段相对短的固定时间，但也可用于组织的长期储存。甲醛固定被视为在醛和蛋白之间形成的，并生成凝胶，从而在它们的体内关系上保留细胞性组成。一旦被正确固定后，组织应该可以承受后续的组织处理或染色阶段。
應用
10%甲醛中性缓冲溶液已用于3T3-L1前脂肪细胞系及小鼠胚胎成纤维细胞分化至脂肪细胞的油红-o染色。它已用于兔眼及糖尿病大鼠肠的组织学分析。
