一般描述
单克隆抗泛细胞角蛋白（小鼠IgG1和IgG2a同种型）是一种来自以下克隆的单克隆抗体的混合物：C-11、PCK-26、CY-90、KS1A3、M20和A53-B/A2。细胞角蛋白，包括至少29种不同的蛋白质，是上皮细胞和单核细胞的特征蛋白。细胞角蛋白1（68 kDa）、4（59 kDa）、5（58 kDa）、8（52 kDa）和6（56 kDa）是在角化的上皮细胞、非角质化的鳞状上皮、分层的上皮、简单上皮、以及在具有自然或病理转换的组织中表达的II型中性至碱性亚家族的成员。细胞角蛋白10（56 kDa）、13（54 kDa）和18（45 kDa）分别是在角化上皮、非角化分层鳞状上皮和简单上皮细胞中表达的I型酸性亚家族的成员。细胞角蛋白肽19（40 kDa）是一种I型角蛋白，可以在特定位置的分层上皮的简单细胞和宽细胞中表达。

生化/生理作用
细胞角蛋白是含有角蛋白的中间丝蛋白，在上皮细胞中提供机械支持并发挥其他功能。它存在于上皮组织的胞质内细胞骨架中。上皮组织以稳定的独特模式表达细胞角蛋白亚基。细胞角蛋白和波形蛋白共同参与前成牙本质细胞和前成釉细胞的增殖、迁移和分化。中等大小的细丝在人内皮细胞中大量存在，且多为波形蛋白型。
