一般說明

免疫球蛋白M(IgM)抗体出现在感染过程的早期。 IgM抗体负责错配输血中的红细胞凝集。IgM的水平可能随疾病或感染的状况而变化。
碱性磷酸酶是可以催化对硝基苯磷酸(PNPP)等显色底物转化的酶;分别将发光底物(如CDP-Star®和荧光底物(如4-甲基伞形酮磷酸酯/4-MUP)转化成为可检测色素、发光剂或荧光剂。
在应答外部抗原第一次刺激时,人IgM是血液中最早出现的免疫球蛋白亚型。这类免疫球蛋白参与中枢神经系统(CNS)髓鞘修复。分泌型IgM水平升高与鼻结膜炎有关。当针对人IgA、IgG、IgM、本周蛋白κ和λ骨髓瘤蛋白进行测试时,抗人IgM(μ-链特异性)-碱性磷酸酶抗体对人IgM具有特异性。
